Job Hunting

By admin | September 27, 2007

Jason is a high school friend that recently resigned from his job for some personal reasons. He’s one of the most intelligent students back in our high school days and he now has a degree in business administration. He called me up and asked if I know a company where he can get a job. I was browsing the webpage of http://www.gibbsmelville.edu/ when we were talking over the phone so I made a joke that he should try to apply there and be a teacher. He of course didn’t like it.

There are currently no job openings in our company so I don’t think he can just walk in there and give his resume. To be honest, I’m also considering leaving my current job and looking for another one. The working environment here is no longer the way when I started to work here. However, I can’t just make a decision like that without making any preparations. Perhaps in a month or two, when I finally made a decision that I’m going to leave my current job and Jason is still unemployed, we’d be looking for new jobs together.
