Opportunity Knocks

By admin | November 7, 2007

After graduating college, I actively searched for jobs in my home country and in several different countries. This was possible through the internet and online job search websites. I secured a job in a local company and up to now, I’m quite satisfied with it. I recently got a call from an international company who’s based in Toronto. The company wanted me to visit Toronto and attend a training and if I ever passed it, they’ll immediately hire me. Well, this is a great opportunity but I was just caught unprepared.

I still have a few months to serve my current company because I signed a contract with a bond with them. If the company based in Canada could wait for a few months, that would be perfect. I have an aunt in Willowdale, Ontario and I could visit her there every weekend. I haven’t told her the news but I’m sure that she’s going to feel happy she hears the news. My girlfriend on the other hand, will definitely feel sad. Her heart will break if we ever part. This is the main reason why I’m still undecided on whether to take the opportunity or not.
